BOMA's March General Membership
Meeting will feature
The Intersection of
Social Media & Business
By Tamara Wilson, President of Wilson Public Relations
PROGRAM
–
Business
and buying decisions are not based solely on what people read or
watch in traditional media channels anymore. Social media platforms
such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs carry the same clout as
the word-of-mouth credibility one expects from friends and insiders.
More and more people turn to their peers on Facebook, Twitter and
their favorite bloggers for insight. Stunningly, just 20 percent of
Global Fortune 100 companies have a comprehensive social
media plan with presence on major social media hubs, and not even a
third of these top companies have a Twitter presence.
How can businesses
traverse, build brands and capitalize on this warp-speed information
landscape of social media, and what are the repercussions of not
engaging?
At BOMA’s March 29th general
lunch meeting – through Wilson PR’s keynote, demos and Q&A, you will
be introduced to the true benefit of Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin,
and more. Let Wilson’s team share the same insights its local and
national clients enjoy.
