Free Rain Sensor Program

Get a FREE Rain Sensor and $50 off the cost of installation! Customers of Cascade member agencies can choose from any participating contractor for installation. There are no application forms and no waiting. Schedule an installation and start saving today.


Rain Sensor Program Requirements:
• All water utility customers of Cascade members are eligible. Cascade members are: Bellevue, Covington Water District, Issaquah, Kirkland,
Redmond, Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District, Skyway Water and Sewer District and Tukwila.
• Rain sensors must be installed on automatically controlled, in-ground sprinkler systems that have been in operation for at least two years.
• Rain sensors must be installed by a participating contractor (listed below).
• Customers must pay installation costs above $50 and sales tax on all hardware and labor costs directly to the participating contractor. Total
out-of-pocket costs may vary depending on the property; ask a participating contractor for an estimate.
• Customers must provide the name of their water utility and account number to the participating contractor.
• Contact a participating irrigation professional directly.
