The Outstanding Building of the Year TOBY® Award

BOMA Seattle King County

The Office Building of the Year "TOBY" Award was created in 1985 to salute excellence

in the office building industry. Now, 26 years later, it remains the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in commercial real estate, recognizing quality in office buildings and awarding excellence in office building management.

The Outstanding Building of the Year TOBY Awards 2011-2012

The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Awards, honoring the best of the best in commercial buildings, saw amazing participation for 2011/12. BOMA Seattle's goal for the 2012 Int'l Convention hosted here in Seattle is to have one regional entry in each TOBY category.

The winners of each category at the local level were announced at BOMA's November 2011 General Meeting and each are indicated with a star in the entry column to the right.

BOMA Seattle King County is still seeking entries for the Suburban Mid Rise and Renovated Categories. If your building is a member and fits one of these categories, contact us today!

Winners at the local level will have until March 1, 2012 to submit online portfolios for the Regional level. We anticipate Regional competition in some categories, with regional winners announced by BOMA's April General Meeting. Winners will then move on to the International competition with winners  announced at the BOMA International Conference the end of June, 2012 here in Seattle. Go Pacific Northwest!

Note to Entrants: Regional and International competition takes place online. An initial $25.00 data submission fee applies for each building entering the online system will be collected at the time of sign in. An additional $275.00 fee will be required before final submission for Regional competition; the fee going directly to BOMA International.
