Education Overview

BOMA Seattle King County offers education opportunities with a focus on the Commercial Real Estate Industry. BOMA’s Education concentrates on training today and tomorrow’s workforce to be successful in commercial real estate. This is accomplished through:

  • BOMI International Designation Programs for those who look to a future in Property or Facility Management
  • Seminars presenting current topics relevant to the commercial real estate industry
  • State of WA Real Estate clock hours that meet renewal requirements for those with Real Estate Licenses
  • Brown bag lunch sessions discussing current trends and topics: Power Hour for Property Managers, Engineer Skills Hour for Building Engineers, and informational sessions for Industry Partners

CLOCK HOURS
RPA and most FMA classes are eligible for approval of clock hours for continuing education from Washington State Department of Licensing, good towards the renewal of Washington State Real Estate License. Click here for more information.

TEXT BOOKS
Textbooks for the classes will be available for pick up from the BOMA office approximately a month prior to the start of class. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, except 12-1 pm for lunch. Any textbooks not picked up will be available on the first day of class. It is advisable to pick up your textbook prior to class and read the first couple of chapters before the first class.

JACK DIERDORFF EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Jack Dierdorff Education Scholarship is available for BOMI Designation courses and various seminars throughout the year (only one scholarship per person per year).
