Generate income from your vacant parking spaces!

King County Metro is launching a new, innovative pilot program that allows building owners to generate income by offering vacant parking spaces to transit users.

Parking demand exceeds supply at public park & ride lots serving busy transit centers. Building more parking in these areas can be an expensive and controversial endeavor. Existing parking spaces outside of park & ride lots, especially ones in multifamily buildings, may offer a way to increase transit parking without the need to construct costly new facilities. Metro is now seeking property owners in King County to participate in this pilot program. If you own or operate a multi-family building close to frequent transit service, you can lean more by going to: http://metro.kingcounty.gov/programs-projects/multifamily-park-ride/
