Join BOMAMembership TypesBOMA Greater Seattle has two types of memberships: Principal Members and Industry Partners. Principal membership is building based. If a building pays dues, the owner and the property management team receive member benefits. Principal members include real estate professionals that own and/or manage office, medical, industrial, retail, and government buildings. Industry Partners are companies that provide goods and services to the commercial real estate industry. Categories include HVAC, elevator, landscaping, janitorial, security, etc. Principal MembershipTake advantage of the professional development, stay up to date with relevant information, and/or contribute to the advocacy efforts at the legislative levels on behalf of the Commercial Real Estate Industry. To get current dues rates, please contact Megan Furstenberg at megan@bomaseattle.org If I’m a member of BOMA Greater Seattle, does that automatically make me a member of all BOMA locals in Washington State?No, each BOMA local has their own dues structure based on their specific market. Each BOMA local functions differently in the opportunities they provide. In Washington state, there are three locals: BOMA Greater Seattle, BOMA South Puget Sound, and BOMA Spokane. Yes. This is a member benefit. Click here to search job openings and post open positions within your company. BOMA Greater Seattle is federated with BOMA International. There are over 106 local associations throughout the country and around the world. BOMA locals collaborate with each other and BOMA International on best practices for commercial real estate. Each local focuses on their own market and function independently. BOMA International and BOMI International are two separate entities. Designation courses are developed by BOMI International and then delivered through many of BOMA's local associations. Registering for classes with BOMI International does not entitle you to BOMA membership; however, as a BOMA member, you generally qualify for discounts on designation courses.
