May Engineer Skills Hour - Emergency Response for Engineers
Presented by Robert French, AK Preparedness

In an emergency in an office building, engineers are usually the first to respond, and they are the critical link once firefighters arrive. This presentation will cover best practices for engineers' response to both fire and non-fire emergencies, the 15-point post-earthquake building safety checklist and the 10 things engineers need to provide arriving responders. We'll also cover recent developments in active shooter response and elevator use in non-fire evacuations.
