Transportation Management Program Seminar
Presented by BOMA Seattle King County, City of Seattle and Commute Seattle
Seattle’s growth continues and the way your employees and your tenants get around is constantly evolving. With the SR-99 tunnel open and the transit tunnel now closed to buses, 2019 has already seen a lot of change in the transportation network. Meanwhile, private development impacts on city streets are ongoing, and the number of transportation options is expanding. In this competitive market, offering great transportation programs and amenities to tenants can make the difference between an average property and a truly great one.
Following last year's popular fall TMP event, this transportation seminar will consist of three sessions covering elements related to Transportation Management Programs (TMPs) and their significance for commercial real estate property managers. Sessions include:
1. Best Practices in Parking Management
2. Navigating the Next Chapter of the Seattle Squeeze
3. The Value of Active Commute Amenities for Your Commercial Property
Nathan Torgelson, the Director of the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections (SDCI), will provide brief introductory remarks on the importance of TMPs and their relationship to the development cycle and management of real estate properties. Presenters from SDOT, WSDOT, Sound Transit, King County Metro, and the private sector will be leading sessions and answering your questions about how Seattle properties can capitalize on the Seattle Squeeze and fulfill requirements of the Transportation Management Program.
