The Rusty Putter is an 18-hole, real-grass putting course at Newcastle that is located just below the club house and near all the action. We anticipate 18 two-person teams. When golf starts at 11 a.m., so will the Rusty Putter Tournament.

Host your best clients, or play with your clients! Registration is first come, first serve until full. There will be 18 teams (2 golfers per team) so register early and register multiple teams if you would like!

How it works:

18 teams will play a two-person scramble (use the best putt of both golfers for each next putt at each hole). Each rounds of 18 holes will take about an hour with a brief break between each round.

Every team plays all three rounds, however, after the first round, the top 12 teams remain in the competition for the top bracket, while all other teams compete in the consolation bracket. After the second round, the top five teams in the top bracket are joined by the winning team from the consolation bracket. These 6 teams compete in round three for the grand prize while the other 12 teams compete in the consolation bracket for a fun prize as well. At the end of the third round we crown three winning teams (The top two teams from the top bracket and the top team from the consolation bracket) and they get some really cool stuff.  Note: Score is by each round and is not cumulative – scoring applies only to the round being played.

The 4 golfers from the top two teams each win a chance to putt 50 feet for $5,000

Cost:

The Rusty Putter contest registration fee is $500 per team.  All proceeds go to the BOMA PAC of Washington or the BOMA Industry Defense Fund. You select which one during the registration process (though we hope you can select the BOMA PAC.
