		| April Power Hour - City of Seattle's Benchmarking Ordinance and Disclosure ReviewPresented by Anthony Amendola, MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, Inc.

 The Energy
Benchmarking and Reporting Program (Ordinance 123226 and 123993) requires
owners of non-residential and multifamily buildings (20,000 sf or larger) to
track energy performance and annually report to the City of Seattle. New
legislation establishing the foundation for a building market that values
energy efficiency, and sets minimum expectations around efficient operations
was recently passed by City Council. MacDonald Miller Facility Solutions has
been following this change closely as we service over 2400 buildings in
Seattle. We will present our understanding of the disclosure requirements to
educate building owners and operators on requirements they now face and steps
to satisfy those requirements.
