There are many scholarship opportunities available to our members. See below for descriptions of opportunities.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship to Attend the BOMA International Conference

This scholarship is being offered to BOMA Members in good standing, who self-identify as being part of a marginalized community. The Application Deadline is usually mid-April.

At the BOMA International Conference, you will have the opportunity to attend educational sessions about new trends and the latest information relevant to the commercial real estate industry. You will have the opportunity to learn about the latest products being offered by industry vendors at the Tradeshow. The conference also offers many opportunities to network with those in the industry and share best practices. There will be a group of BOMA members from Seattle that you will be connected with during the conference.

Emerging Professionals Scholarship to Attend the BOMA International Conference

This scholarship is being offered to BOMA Members in good standing, who qualify as an Emerging Professional. The Application Deadline is usually mid-April.

At the BOMA International Conference, you will have the opportunity to attend educational sessions about new trends and the latest information relevant to the commercial real estate industry. You will have the opportunity to learn about the latest products being offered by industry vendors at the Tradeshow. The conference also offers many opportunities to network with those in the industry and share best practices. There will be a group of BOMA members from Seattle that you will be connected with during the conference.

Education Scholarship

The scholarship provides an educational opportunity for an individual who is currently pursuing or engaged in a career in property or facility management in the commercial real estate industry who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship covers the cost of one in-class course that can be applied toward a BOMI designation. For more information on designations, please visit our Education Opportunities page.

Completed applications are evaluated in an objective and nondiscriminatory manner by an independent selection committee of BOMA Greater Seattle. 

General Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must be currently employed in a career in the property or facility management in the commercial real estate industry
• Applicant's company must be a member of BOMA Greater Seattle in good standing
• Applicant must have been employed in some aspect of the commercial real estate industry for at least 12 months
• For additional requirements, look to the specific scholarship form
  

Contributions

If you wish to support our Scholarship Program by making a contribution, please donate online or contact the BOMA office at 206-622-8924. Contributions can be made by companies and individuals. There are no limits on contributions and all contributions are graciously appreciated and accepted anytime.
