BOMA Seattle King County
continues our historically successful run of strong government affairs leaders
as Mary Bingham (Clise Properties) assumes the chairmanship of BOMA’s
Government and Industry Affairs Committee. The BOMA Board confirmed Mary’s
nomination on March 15th and she assumed our top volunteer
leadership role for BOMA’s advocacy efforts on behalf our membership and
industry.
Mary follows a venerable
group of leaders who have served in this important position over several years
including: Coleen Spratt (Colliers International), Lyn Krizanich (retired from Clise
Properties), Tom Sante (Kidder Mathews) and Mark Barbieri (Washington
Holdings).
Mary will work closely with our state lobbyists Mark Gjurasic and Chet Baldwin,
our local advocacy consultant, Catherine Stanford and BOMA Exec. Rod Kauffman. As chairman, she will also help develop BOMA’s advocacy positions and objectives in Seattle,
Bellevue and King County as well as in Olympia while working with BOMA
colleagues in Spokane and Tacoma. Mary will also be representing BOMA
Seattle King County on occasion as we meet in Washington, D.C. with our congressional
delegation and BOMA International staff.
Those who have participated on
BOMA’s Government Affairs Committee are some of the best informed real estate
professionals in our market. Consider visiting or joining this important
committee. Visit the committee page here.
Congratulations Mary and
thank you Coleen for five years of outstanding service and leadership!
