//Sustaining Partners

Introducing Our 2018 Sustaining Sponsors

The success of BOMA Seattle King County is a direct result of the financial support and involvement of our members. In an effort to more formally recognize BOMA's major supporters, BOMA Seattle King County developed a Sustaining Partnership program.

There are three levels of Sponsorship including:
Platinum at $10,000 (includes dues)
Gold at $5,000
Silver at $2,500

Each level of Sustaining Partnership creates additional support for BOMA Seattle King County while contributing to the overall success and strength of the organization. Every effort is made throughout the year to promote, communicate, and recognize the support of BOMA's Sustaining Partners to the entire membership.

To learn more about the benefits, or how to become a Sustaining Partner, and separate your company from your competitors, please contact Cori Taniguchi at 206-622-8924 x103.

Meet Our Newest BOMA Team Member: Alanna Archer

We are so excited to have Alanna Archer join our BOMA team! She started on January 3, 2018 and has settled quickly into her new role as General Administration and Support Specialist. She will take over office duties as well as provide Education and Event support. Please join us in welcoming Alanna to the team!

Here's a little about Alanna in her own words: "I feel so grateful and privileged to be joining the BOMA team, and look forward to meeting all of our members. I grew up in the Seattle area, before moving to Spokane for my undergraduate degree at Gonzaga University, and then on to Scotland for my Masters in Ancient History at the University of St. Andrews. My primary research was on ancient Roman magic and curses, but I promise I won’t use any of that knowledge for evil. And sadly, though I’ve lived in St. Andrews, I have not golfed the Old Course. But, living there has made me very familiar with golf tournaments, and I am excited to assist with the annual BOMA Tournament later this year!"

When you see her at the next BOMA event, please say hi!

//Member Programs

Home Depot: BOMA Members Earn 2% Annual Rebate

The Home Depot now offers a national rebate incentive program for BOMA members. Enroll in the program and receive a 2% annual rebate on all qualifying pre-tax purchases (a qualifying purchase is any pre-tax purchase on a registered account), plus special services and savings, including dedicated support, delivery, competitive pricing, volume discounts, and more. There is no cost to enroll. You can register any form of payment accepted by The Home Depot, including checking accounts, credit cards, debit cards and The Home Depot accounts. Annual purchases must total a minimum of $25,000 to qualify for the rebate.

The current rebate period runs March 1, 2017, through February 28, 2018. You can enroll at any time; however, the sooner you enroll the sooner you start earning your rebates. Rebate payments are issued annually within 60 days of the end of the rebate period.

Enrollment is now open, and you must enroll to participate. Click here for more information and how to enroll.

BOMA 360 Performance Program

The BOMA 360 Performance Program sets the standard worldwide for operational best practices in the commercial real estate industry. For building owners and managers who want to help their properties stand out from the crowd, there is no clearer mark of excellence than achieving the BOMA 360 designation.

Earning the prestigious BOMA 360 label demonstrates that a building is outperforming the competition across all areas of operations and management. It also translates into measurable savings and operational efficiencies, as well as higher levels of tenant satisfaction.

As the BOMA 360 program continues to expand around the globe, more and more properties are reaping the substantial benefits and significant return on investment that the designation offers, an unmistakable edge in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Does your building have what it takes to earn the BOMA 360 designation? Click here to apply and find out.

Participate in the 2018 EER Surveys

Benchmarking your commercial property against others in BOMA International’s Experience Exchange Report (EER) can save you up to 3% each year on operating expenses. The first step to achieving these savings is sharing data from your building or portfolio with this year’s Office EER or Industrial EER survey.

Participating in the 2018 EER surveys unlocks a number of valuable benefits to help you improve your building’s performance, from priority access to and discounts on 2018 report subscriptions to a free top-level Market Snapshot—and much more.

Any commercial property can submit prior-year income and expense data to the 2018 surveys, regardless of whether or not the property is owned or managed by a BOMA member. The online submission form allows most respondents to finish in about 30 minutes, but there’s no need to complete an entire survey at once. Save your answers as you go and return to the form as many times as needed before the March 30 deadline.

Remember: All date submitted is kept in strictest confidence, and only market-level information is published.

Start your survey now at eer.boma.org.
