To Our Valued BOMA Members:
It is easy to take in too much speculative and disheartening news. I believe that soon there will be treatments that help with symptoms while a vaccine progresses. We will knock this thing down to where our medical professionals, facilities and supplies can better address this “really stupid virus” and that sooner, rather than later, we will be returning to the workplace. The U.S. economy, our local and regional economy will rebound in surprising ways. We are resilient. We will help each other to ignite our economy and find even better ways of doing business. I appreciate all those who have been talking with me as if I were family – I think the same of all of you! - Rod

Hi BOMA Members! I miss seeing you in person, but have loved the chance to connect by Zoom and chat over email 😊. It’s fun to see people in their home environments and interesting to hear how we are all adjusting to this new way of living and working. I heard a fun one today to include into your routine if you can…. Funny Shirt Friday. A long distance cheers to keeping yourself and your family safe and healthy and a huge shout out to all of the home-schooling parents out there! The BOMA Staff are working remotely and we are here for you. Please reach out if you need anything. I can’t wait to see you all in person! - Cori

It's been amazing to see how we've all come together (virtually) during this time of "social distancing". It's been encouraging to see you all actively find ways to connect and participate during these uncertain times. A sliver lining in this, for me, has been being able to spend more time with friends and family. As ironic as that sounds, we are connected more than ever before because we are all in this together. I hope to see your faces in person soon. Until then, stay safe, healthy and don't forget to wash your hands! - Christine

Greetings from my working-from-home office (my kitchen island)! I wanted to say a quick thank you to our entire BOMA Seattle King County membership. During this time of separation, it has been great to remain connected to our BOMA community. We all appreciate your participation on our virtual webinars and committee meetings and receiving your kind notes via email. I so deeply enjoy my relationship with each of you and I cannot wait for the day when we can all network in-person again. Until then, sending virtual hugs and well wishes to all! - Megan

In these difficult times, it’s been encouraging to see the positivity and dedication our members have expressed. It’s not always easy, but we’ve all tackled this new challenge head-on and are finding creative ways to keep our industry moving forward. I’m looking forward to the day we can just have a good old fashioned in-person meeting and talk about how many games the Mariners are losing. 😊 Stay safe out there! - Justin
