Melanie Danuser, Director of Education & Training, NEEC
Melanie Danuser with Northwest Energy Efficiency Council is an active Education Committee member. Melanie is tremendously helpful in organizing the Engineer Skills Hours and contributes to BOMA Educational programming.
This includes coordinating BOC instructors and finding relevant topics for our engineers. We really appreciate Melanie’s commitment to BOMA Education.
Kacie Rahm has really stepped up in her role as TOBY Committee chair this year. With one TOBY win under her belt, her knowledge and experience within the program has been essential in guiding others in the process. Even
with the pandemic looming in the background, Kacie was able to keep the program alive in 2020, bringing in 4 TOBY entries! Kacie has been a wonderful resource to those submitting TOBYs this year and has helped to streamline
the 2020 virtual tours. Thank you, Kacie and congratulations!
Joanna Sauter, Senior Sales Executive, Essity Professional Hygiene
Joanna Sauter with Essity Professional Hygiene is an incredibly involved BOMA member and Gold Sustaining Partner. She is an integral part of the TOBY committee, helping recruit TOBY entries and judges. She has also helped
at many past BOMA events as a volunteer and never hesitates to lend a hand. Joanna always goes above and beyond when participating at events. She engages members with a positive attitude and always has fun, interactive
decorations. We know our members appreciate seeing her smiling face! Congratulations, Joanna!
Liza Skorupski with Steelwave is the Chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee and Liaison to the Board. She has been dedicated to keeping the committee engaged
during this unique and challenging year. Liza is involved in leading conversations that help connect young professionals during these times. She has a passion for creating awareness about careers in commercial real estate
and sharing information with high school students about the industry. Thank you for all you do, Liza! Congratulations!
2020 President's Award Recipient
Jackie Roethel, Associate Partner, Director of Marketing, Evolution Architecture
Jackie Roethel is a long time BOMA member and has always been very active within the BOMA community. She is the Chair for the Women in Action Task Force which she began 4 years ago and has grown it to what it is today.
This year, the conversation about women, diversity and careers in commercial real estate was very relevant and we appreciate Jackie’s leadership in moving this conversation forward. She is an integral part of the Education
Committee, the Industry Partner Committee and is always willing to step up as a sponsor or volunteer when needed. Congratulations, Jackie. We appreciate you!
2020 Chairman's Award Recipient
Kim Berg-Jones, Managing Director at CBRE
Kim Berg-Jones has been very open and willing to share information this year that has been helpful to members and the industry as a whole during the pandemic. She is quick to share her ideas and experiences and to bring
intelligent content to difficult conversations. She was instrumental in helping with the planning of the Leadership Seminars conducted by Kirk Anderson and regularly shared BOMA’s educational opportunities with those
in her company. Kim was extremely supportive of BOMA’s Sustaining Partners, attending appx. 90% of the Spotlights and following up with questions and conversation that helped inform and bring value to members. Kim is
an outstanding Leader and we are very lucky to have her on our Executive Team.
