How do your properties operating expenses compare?
In 2021, BOMA International suspended the Office Experience Exchange Report; therefore, BOMA Seattle King County leadership adopted a strategic objective to collect local operating expense data and begin producing an annual Office Building Operating Expense Benchmarking Report for our members. Our plan is to add industrial and medical office reports in subsequent years. To complete this member resource benefit, we need robust participation. The more buildings that participate, the more accurate the expense numbers.
On Tuesday, July 13th, the BOMA office sent out an invitation to all property managers asking for participation in this Operating Expense Benchmarking project. If we receive enough building data, we plan to publish the cumulative results for these six submarkets: Bellevue Central Business District, Bellevue Eastgate/Other, Seattle Central Business District, Pioneer Square/SODO, South Lake Union and Seattle Other. To thank participants in this key strategic objective, BOMA will send a $50 Amazon electronic gift card for each building entered. This thank-you gift will be available for the first 100 entries received.
