Each year, BOMA recognizes members in our organization who have displayed hard work, dedication, and were real stand outs among our membership. The time they give, the support they provide and the value they bring to members make these individuals BOMA Heroes!

Jeremiah (JB) Beyl, First Onsite

Jeremiah is a long time BOMA Member and supporter. He has been an active member on the Industry Partner Committee for many years and always shares ideas to help improve events and programs. He is quick to lend a hand when needed and is a great resource for new BOMA members. Jeremiah, we appreciate your dedication to BOMA and your warm sense of humor. Thank you for all that you do for BOMA!
Rebecca Uusitalo, Urban Renaissance Group

Rebecca Uusitalo embodies a BOMA hero in many ways. She is a tireless advocate, serving as the chair of BOMA’s Public Safety Task Force since its inception in 2019. As leader of the Task Force, Rebecca champions the need to improve public safety in King County and eloquently communicates our industry’s struggles to elected officials and representatives at multiple levels of government. She has even led members of the city council through the downtown streets, pointing out problem areas and discussing solutions. Rebecca never slows down and she is always first in the group to ask “what’s next” and “what else can we do?” Rebecca – thank you for your time, dedication, and passion as a BOMA leader!
  Adrienne Harbourt, Kidder Mathews

Adrienne has been the Co-Chair for BOMA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force since its inception in 2021. She helped put together and implement its mission statement and helped tremendously with programming. She is always prepared with fresh ideas and quickly established herself as a passionate, organized, and committed leader. Her efforts helped provided industry-wide DEI resources, education and programming to BOMA members and will lead the way in increasing diversity in the industry. Her bright attitude is infectious, and Adrienne is always a reliable volunteer and member. Thank you, Adrienne, for all you do to move our industry forward!
  Susan Perry, Pacific Building Services

Susan Perry is an incredibly involved BOMA member. Susan and her team have been major sponsors for the Emerging Professionals Program for multiple years, as well as major sponsors for the 2022 Mentor Program. She has also helped at many past BOMA events as a volunteer and never hesitates to lend a hand. Susan always goes above and beyond when participating at events. She engages members with a positive attitude and always has fun ideas to make BOMA better - We know our members appreciate seeing her smiling face! Congratulations, Susan!

Tyler Kirshner, CBRE

Tyler Kirshner has only been a BOMA member for a couple years and in that time has solidified his place as a leader and role model. He stepped up right away and volunteered to take photos at all BOMA events that he is able to attend, signed up for the Mentor Program as a Mentee and took every opportunity he could to learn more about the industry and connect with those in it. In 2021 Tyler got involved in the local Emerging Professionals program and participated in lead roles right away. Shortly after becoming involved here in Seattle, he joined BOMA International’s Emerging Professionals committee helping local BOMA’s across the country better their EP programs.  In 2021, Tyler attended the BOMA International Conference in Boston on a local scholarship. In 2022, he attended the International Conference in Nashville with support from his company and a BOMA International J. Michael Coleman Scholarship. In prep for the Conference in Nashville, he assisted in preparing materials at the International level to help all EPs Navigate the conference. Here at BOMA Seattle King County, he was the point-person for our local Emerging Professionals, making them feel welcome and informed about the conference. When Tyler learned that there was an Emerging Professionals Position available on BOMA International’s Executive Committee, of course, he applied. It was a vigorous application process that included many rounds of interviews. The news was announced in Nashville that of all the applicants across the country, Tyler was selected to be on BOMA International’s Executive Committee, and he was sworn in while there. This is a huge accomplishment and speaks to Tyler’s drive, professionalism and innovative ideas. Tyler is always willing to lend a hand or lead an important project. He is a creative thinker and problem solver. Tyler, we are so proud of all that you have already accomplished and can’t wait to see what you do next.

Congratulations to all of our 2022 BOMA Heroes!
