As many of you are already aware, Sound Transit is proposing Light Rail Link Extensions for both West Seattle and Ballard. The West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions (STIII) will provide light rail connections to both regions, and the proposed project will include a new downtown Seattle light rail tunnel. The West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions will include the following additions to downtown:
West Seattle to Downtown: 4 new stations between SODO and Alaska Junction
Ballard to Downtown: 9 new stations between Chinatown-International District and Market Street
BOMA Seattle King County is creating a list of membership buildings that will be directly along the proposed STIII line through downtown, to further engage in discussion regarding the impacts of this new line.
