2023 BOMA Heroes
Jamie Peterson, CBRE
Jamie Peterson is a rock-star co-chair for the BOMA Emerging Professionals program. Since she started in the industry she has stepped up to lead efforts for events and programming for BOMA EPs. She has connected BOMA with the University of Washington’s Real Estate Club where BOMA has had the opportunity to share information about Careers in Commercial Real Estate with UW students and invite them to our industry events. Jamie combines professionalism with fun and is a pleasure to work. Congratulations Jamie!
Earl Wayman, Kidder Mathews
Earl has been a steadfast supporter of all things BOMA since joining the Commercial Real Estate industry in 2002. For over 20 years, Earl’s fingerprints have been on nearly every piece of BOMA education. His expertise, insight and values have been shared with literally hundreds of BOMA students throughout the years, and Earl’s students have always voiced the value that they received from his instruction. Earl has served in countless leadership roles in the association, including BOMA Chair, on the BOMA Board of Directors and as Education Chair for years. Earl’s true love, dedication and passion for our industry and folks who are learning the ropes cannot be overstated. Earl, we appreciate you and are thrilled to be naming you a 2023 BOMA hero.
Angela Caver, Washington Holdings
Angela Caver is a dedicated member of BOMA , serving as the DEI Co-Chair, actively volunteering at events, and participating in critical events like our Strategic Planning meeting. Angela is a rising star in our community and her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as the industry is greatly valued. Congratulations, Angela! You are truly a BOMA hero!
Lisa Hanses, Amento Group
Lisa Hanses, with Amento Group, is an incredibly involved BOMA member and Silver Sustaining Partner. She is an integral part of the Industry Partners Committee, helps at many BOMA events as a volunteer, and never hesitates to lend a hand. Lisa always goes above and beyond when participating at events with fun, interactive decorations. We know our members appreciate seeing her smiling face and enjoy the infamous Amentos candies!
