PROGRAM GUIDELINES This award honors a member of a local association who has demonstrated leadership skills; participated in local, regional and/or international association activities as an officer, committee chair or member; contributed time and talent to the local community; and shown an interest in keeping up to date by participating in educational programs. The award recognizes activity during the previous year, rather than service rendered over many years.
ELIGIBILITY The entrant must be a BOMA member in good standing.
SUBMISSIONS
Written descriptions to be submitted for each of the following criteria:
Advocacy/Legislative Involvement and activities participated on local, state & international levels to include PAC Fundraising efforts and participation.
Leadership Skills demonstrated
Elective Offices Held in local, regional or international association.
Participation in Association - Cite specific number of committee involvement; local, regional or international.
Community Contribution - Time and impact to the local community.
BOMA Education -
Enrollment in the Real Property Administrator (RPA), Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA), Facility Management Administrator (FMA) program and completed at least one course.
Earned Real Property Administrator (RPA), Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA), and Facility Management Administrator (FMA) or Certified Property Management (CPM) designation.
JUDGING The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2024. Local nominations will be submitted to the regional panel of judges (PNW Leadership Team) and the recipient will be announced May 1, 2024. The recipient will be awarded at the BOMA International Conference in July 2024.
