The BOMA Hero Awards recognize members in our organization that have displayed hard work, dedication and were real stand outs among our membership. The time they give, the support they provide and the value they bring to members makes these individuals BOMA Heroes!

Derek Collins, Link Logistics

Derek Collins, with Link Logistics, is an outstanding BOMA advocate and the driving force behind our new BOMA Industrial Committee. His leadership has been pivotal, from organizing our first industrial building tour to actively engaging in numerous events. Derek’s dedication to showcasing the industrial side of property management has enriched our organization, bringing fresh insights and perspectives to us all. Thank you, Derek, for your invaluable contributions and commitment to BOMA’s success!


Benjamin Harrison, Pacific Building Services

Benjamin Harrison, with Pacific Building Services, is an invaluable member of the BOMA Awards Committee, playing a key role in planning and executing our recognition initiatives to celebrate achievements across our community. His dedication extends far beyond the committee—Ben is a dependable event volunteer, always ready to step in and ensure the success of every gathering. With his bright and welcoming personality, Ben brings a warmth that is truly unmatched, enriching our BOMA community in countless ways. Thank you, Ben, for your commitment, support, and the positive energy you share with us all.

 
 

Alicia Hall, Amazon

Alicia Hall, with Amazon, exemplifies what it means to lead with creativity, kindness and levity. Since stepping in as Education Co-Chair in 2024, Alicia has championed the revamp of BOMA Seattle’s educational offerings, working to lead the organization in a direction to better suit its members’ needs. She has stepped up in designing brand new educational programs and has taught a number of new courses and seminars throughout the year, sharing her knowledge and expertise with BOMA’s students. Alicia brings an undeniable energy and passion to all of her activities and is always quick to step up to offer any help when it’s needed. Her great attitude is infectious and always appreciated. Fawn Denton, Kastle

Fawn Denton with Kastle, is an incredibly involved BOMA member. Her and her team have been major sponsors for the Emerging Professionals and Mentor Program for multiple years, as well as Diamond Partners. You will see Fawn at most BOMA events either as an attendee or volunteer. She is professional and kind and her positive attitude is infectious. Congratulations, Fawn!

 

 

2024 Chairman's Award

 

Scott Loftin, Alexandria Real Estate Equities

Scott Loftin, with Alexandria Real Estate Equities, has been a longtime BOMA advocate! He has been on the BOMA Board of Directors since 2020 and attends countless events. This year, he was appointed Chair of the Community Outreach Committee and helped solidify the Pike Place Food Bank as BOMA’s new Outreach Partner for 2024 through 2026. Scott will also be the new BOMA Treasurer, beginning in 2025. Congratulations Scott, on being a true BOMA hero!

Mackenzie Straughan, EQ Office

You might recognize Mackenzie Straughan for her fun and colorful hair! But what is even more recognizable is Mackenzie’s commitment to BOMA! Mackenzie currently works for EQ Office and was a tremendous help in coordinating BOMA’s office remodel in 2023. Additionally, she and the EQ team have been working diligently this year on preparing the USBC Cedar Hall for the upcoming BOMA Holiday Party. Mackenzie always has a positive attitude and is willing to lend a hand. Thank you for all your support of BOMA!
