COVID-19 has changed the world and continues to cause seismic shifts; the impacts have been felt most deeply by historically marginalized groups including women, immigrants, and communities of color reflected in our tenants and colleagues. This moment opens an opportunity to lean into capacity building efforts to increase understanding of the intersection between privilege and leadership and develop skills to build self-awareness, all contributing to the ability to shift behavior and move into action.
During this meeting, we will explore how we build greater awareness of world events and the impact on our colleagues and tenants, recognizing early signs of PTSD resulting from chronic stress and community violence, and build relationships grounded in trust.
You will leave the meeting with actions and ideas to take back to your organization, and support building a culture of greater inclusion and understanding. You don't want to miss this general (virtual) meeting and register today!
*Each attendee will receive a $25 DoorDash e-gift card so you can order lunch before the event. There will also be time for networking after the presentation. Please see the agenda below.
