Defense Fund (IDF)

If your company does not allow PAC support, please consider contributing to the BOMA IDF (Industry Defense Fund). This is a fund BOMA can use to join coalition and cooperative efforts for issues research and issues support (as opposed to candidate campaigns).

This is BOMA International’s political action committee. It enables BOMA International’s advocacy team to raise money to re-elect political candidates for federal office on both sides of the aisle who know, understand and support policies that affect commercial real estate.

How does BOMA do it? Advocacy. From owner and tenant representation with utilities to lobbying and legislative representation at federal, state, and local levels, BOMA is constantly working to reduce the unnecessary taxes, costs, and regulations that make it hard for your to do business. Why do we do it? Simply put, because it’s why we’re here – to help owners, real estate professionals, and service providers in Seattle, Bellevue, and throughout King County keep and grow the value of their real estate investments.
