Announcing our 2021-22 Local TOBY Winners

2021 was another big year for the TOBY Awards. In October, Seattle Municipal Tower took home an International TOBY, making it the THIRD year in a row that BOMA Seattle King County has won at that level! The awards presentation was held in Boston and many were so happy to be attending in person.  

The TOBY’s success comes from partnerships developed at all levels and judges are an integral part of the program. We had several volunteers judge our local entries, giving them the opportunity for a back of the house tour of a spectacular building while receiving greater insight to our industry. Below is a list of all the judges that participated this year. Without you all, this competition would not have been possible.

The Outstanding Building of the Year Award is the most prestigious recognition and honors the best of the best in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in buildings and rewarding excellence in building management. It recognizes and rewards not only how a building is run and maintained but also recognizes all the hard work people have put into the building.

The competition starts at the BOMA local association level, winning entries advance from there to the regional level and, finally, regional winners advance to the international level. International winners will be presented at the BOMA International Conference in Nashville in June 2022.
