C-PACER Legislation Signed by Governor Inslee

Over the past two years, BOMA has been part of an extensive stakeholder engagement and advocacy process to gain passage of Commercial PACER financing in Washington State. Our legislation passed both state legislative chambers and the Governor has now signed it into law. Click here to read more.

Best of BOMA - Online Learning Resources

As some of our members move to remote working, BOMA Seattle King County would like to provide educational resources that you can access from home! In our Best of BOMA Series we are posting some of our pre-recorded webinars for members to access. These online learning resources provide an in-depth look into different aspects of our industry and allows engineers and property managers alike to have a greater understanding of their buildings. These videos are packed with relevant information and all run from only 35-50 minutes each.

Coronavirus Information with Building Operations Focus Recorded Webinar

On March 17, 2020, BOMA Seattle King County presented a webinar called Coronavirus Information with Building Operations Focus. The webinar featured several panelists and the following topics were covered: Background on the Virus, Building Operations, Property Pandemic Response Plan Basics, and Personal/Family Preparedness.

Complimentary Access to BOC Technical Webinars

Seattle City Light and the Smart Buildings Center are offering BOMA King County members complimentary access to Building Operator Certification technical webinars to address continuing education needs in the time of social distancing and stay at home orders. During this time, BOMA Seattle King County is not holding in-person Education or Networking events. We will assess this each week and we really look forward to the time that we can meet in-person again. We will be sending out communication regarding our upcoming special events including Women in Action and Golf soon, so please stay tuned.

As updates surrounding the Coronavirus, officially named COVID-19, are made, BOMA remains committed to providing helpful resources to our members and other commercial real estate professionals. We have created a COVID-19 Resource Center that includes downloadable content including guidelines, response protocols and slides from past webinars related to the issue. Resource documents will be added regularly.
