|Mentor Program Overview|
What we have learned from Mentor programs is that mentees learn from mentors and vice versa. We all have a unique sets of skills, unique strengths and weaknesses, differing levels of experience depending on the task at hand and the ability to teach others and learn new things. Sharing information and ideas and discussing challenges in an environment of trust is how we grow. The goal of this program is to build knowledge, foster learning and connect people within our industry.
What is new for the 2016/2017 Program Year?
We have made a few changes this year to align with our program goals and with what we have learned from past participants about the strengths of our mentor program.
How to get involved:
All events will include a structured educational discussion period and plenty of time for networking with drinks and appetizers included.
· September 22, 2016 : Kickoff event - Inspire Growth. Join us as we discuss the why’s of Property Management. Why we do what we do for our owners, tenants, the future of the industry and our careers.
· January, 2017: Stepping in to the Future. Join us as we hear from a panel of senior leaders in the industry as they discuss their journey, share stories about their experiences and give us insight on the future of the industry.
· March, 2017: Strengthening our community. Join us as we volunteer our time to help the community. Happy Hour to follow.
· May, 2017: Wrap Up Event – Resourcefulness is our Super Power. Join us as we discuss and share ideas that will make you shine at work and help to skyrocket your career.
