Is Danger Lurking in Your Alleyway?
Flammable material, such as a used Christmas tree, placed in an alley represents a potential fire hazard. The video below shows someone lighting a discarded Christmas tree on fire which burns the side of a building and could have resulted in an even more serious incident. Waterfront LID - Council Approves Re
solution of Intent to Form
On Monday, November 18, 2019, Council passed Resolution 31915 which initiated the process to confirm Waterfront LID assessments. The resolution authorizes the City Clerk to notify property owners of their proposed final assessment amounts and sets a date for a public hearing on proposed final LID assessments. The City’s Office of the Hearing Examiner will hold a public hearing on the proposed final assessment roll on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Read more.

BOMA Foundations of Real Estate Management Begins February 25th

This 5-module course meets once a week in Bellevue and is a complete package—instruction, peer networking, property tours and a comprehensive course manual that is easy to read and a valuable resource back on the job. Power Hours - Free for BOMA Members

Power Hours are free educational opportunities for our members that occur once a month during the lunch hour and usually take place at the BOMA office. They present important topics that can impact our members and their business and gives quick and helpful information. They are not a sales pitch or a commercial but more of an opportunity to give information that is relevant and helpful to the target audience: property managers, engineers and sometimes other vendors.

February 11th - Olympia Day

Join your BOMA Colleagues from across Washington State as we meet with our lawmakers in Olympia and help them understand the issues important to our industry, our business and our professions. First time Olympia Day participants are teamed with Olympia Day veterans as observers and are welcome to just listen and learn. Materials will be distributed a week prior to the event. January 27th - BOMA January General Meeting

BOMA’s January 27th General Lunch Meeting will feature a panel of speakers who will discuss the City of Seattle’s soon to be adopted Seismic Retrofit Requirements for Unreinforced Masonry Buildings. Our fourth annual Women in Action Event is taking place on May 5th and features Keynote Speaker, Beth Halvorsen.
